Every year the Stittsville District Lions Club conducts our ANNUAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN, raising funds to help the less fortunate in our Stittsville community. More info here
Benny&Co. team up with Stittsville Lions Club to raise needed funds for Stittsville Food Bank Posted on Sep, 15, 2020
The Lions and Benny&Co. are teaming up to help out the Stittsville Food Bank with a delicious rotisserie take-out dinner to be held on Friday, September 25 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. The menu for this fundraiser will be the Choix du Chef – a quarter chicken dinner (leg or breast chosen by the Chef) with fries, coleslaw, bun, a slice of Maple dulce de leche pie and a beverage for a cost of $18.00 ($19.42 with Eventbrite fee).
For every meal sold, $9.00 will be donated to the Stittsville Food Bank and Benny&Co. will also give each participant a $10 gift card that can be used at a later date. You can’t beat this deal!
3rd Annual Ottawa Flame of Hope Golf Tournament Posted on Jul, 23, 2020
On August 24, 2020 Diabetes Canada will host the 3rd Annual Flame of Hope Golf Tournament at Stonebridge Golf Club in Nepean. Last year, this even sold out and raised over $50,000, enabling over us to help fund specific research grants for type 1 and type 2 diabetes research.
Join us for a fun day of golf, hole activities and dinner to help raise desperately needed funds and support the local community! Shot gun start at 12 PM. Advanced registration is required as this event sold out last year.

Behind most good deeds in Stittsville and area can be found the yellow vest of the Stittsville Lions Club. May 25th was no exception as they participated in the ‘Lions at Work’ campaign.

The Stittsville District Lions Club supports Academic Achievement by awarding Bursaries to (5) first year College or University students of $1000.00 dollars each.
Applications due by June15th, 2020.
Closure of the Lions Hall due to COVID-19 Posted on Mar, 15, 2020
The Stittsville Lions Club has decided to close the Lions Hall to all activities until further notice due to the COVID-19 viral outbreak. The Lions Hall booking team will contact all groups to ensure they are made aware of the Hall closure. The Lions hall is used ~ 200 times a year for events and is frequented by all age groups incluing those highest at risk.

Round 1 - District A4 Effective Speaking Contest
Open to all students in private or public schools in Ontario or Quebec.
Competitions in French and English.
1st Competition will be held at the Stittsville Lions Hall, 1339 Stittsville Main St,
Stittsville, Ont on Wednesday, Feb 26th 2020 7 pm.
Winners in each category will receive $100.00 and runners up will receive $25.00.
